William E. Howard age 61, of Perrysville, died at 3:45 p.m. Friday, May 24, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, IL. Mr. Howard was born Aug. 27, 1906, at Clarence, the son of Paul and Stella Howard. He was married June 12, 1937, to Edna Huffman of St. Joseph , who survives. He had farmed most of his life. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wallace of Kingman, Mrs. Helen Hughes of Tampico, and Mrs. Mabel Hie of Summershade, KY; six brothers, Charles of Cincinnati, OH, Lloyd and Kenneth, both of Crawfordsville, Everett of Perrysville, Dallas and John of Hillsboro. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Freese Funeral Home in St. Joseph, IL. The Rev. Dale Jackson officiated and burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery. --tch
